Posers

Posers use extensive biosculpts to impersonate celebrities and/or characters from the past or present. Most gangs revolve around a specific topic (dead presidents, serial murderers, etc.) or serial ("Gilligan's Island", "Hellraiser", or the ever popular "Brady Bunch"). Members are typically brainwashed, and are expected to completely become their new persona. They can also mimic a certain period of time like the Westerns or the Medieval Ages. In this case they are called nostalgia gangs.

Mechanics

Posers often posses a second special ability related to their impersonated role.

Equipment

Neural processor and interface plugs, plus four different things from the list below:

  • Light Armor (14SP) Jacket or other specific clothing piece with your gang colors
  • One handgun costing less than 100Eb with E or C availability and two regular clips
  • Minor Appearance Modification (Look-alike, 15+ to notice the difference)
  • Switchblade, butterfly Knife or Brass knuckles
  • Audiovox, to mimic the voice of your idol
  • Behavior chip(s) (choose which behavior now)
  • Specific piece of cyberware or equipment related to impersonated role
  • Chip socket
  • 1D6/2 Role-specific chips (Language, Specific knowledge, Biography)
  • Sex change (basic)
